This academy will focus on empowering faculty to leverage the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence within the D2L learning environment. Our aim is to foster teaching innovations and enhance student learning engagement by equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to integrate generative AI literacy and applications into your courses. We will delve into how these generative AI applications can be used to personalize learning, promote ethical and responsible use of AI among students.
We believe that by embracing generative AI, we can create a more engaging and effective learning experience for our students. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your teaching practices and contribute to our collective goal of student success in the age of AI.

- With continued support from the provost, we are pleased to offer a stipend of $125 to the first 50 nine-month faculty participants. Stipends will be paid after faculty participate in the Zoom session and submit an updated syllabus for a fall 2025 class with generative AI curriculum integration. This stipend serves as an incentive and acknowledgment of your commitment to staying at the forefront of generative AI and enhancing student learning engagement.
